Chris Nooney

Mortgage professional Chris Nooney has
a passion for serving others. From his
holistic financial guidance to his mission of
supporting local non-profits, he is focused
on improving people’s lives. “Our team is
continuously blessed,” he says, “Being able
to use our business to bless others is why
we do what we do.”
Nooney is a Certified Mortgage Planning
Specialist (CMPS) and a 22-year veteran
of mortgage lending. As the leader of
Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp.’s
Cypress branch, he serves homebuyers and
homeowners across the Houston area, Texas
and the nation. He has originated more than
$1.4 billion in home loans over the course of
his career, earning him recognition as one of
the nation’s top mortgage originators.
Despite his professional success,
relationships are what Nooney values most.
“The best part of this job is getting to know
people from all walks of life,” he says. “We are
honored to have served over 5,300 families,
including third-generation clients.” Many
of Nooney’s borrowers are referrals of real
estate agents, builders, financial advisors and
past clients. He attributes this loyal network
to his dedication to providing everyone
with comprehensive guidance for both their
homeownership and financial goals.
Nooney’s spirit of service extends beyond
his client relationships. “We basically
give a percentage of everything we earn
back to non-profits,” he explains. “That’s
what our business is modeled around.”
Nooney also serves on the boards of the
Christian non-profits The Get Together and
SOULWELL Ministries and is an advisory
board member of Potentia Workforce, which
provides career services for neuro-diverse
individuals–a cause that’s dear to him as the
father of an autistic son.
Looking ahead, Nooney’s goals for the
year are the same as they always have been–
using his business to help non-profits while
expanding his services to make a greater
impact in the community.
