James Swift is a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served for more than 20 years. The values of leadership, service, and dedication he developed in the military carry directly into his work as a mortgage loan officer, where he specializes in helping fellow veterans and their families maximize their VA home loan benefits.

Since 2020, James has partnered with Travis Newton to form The Mortgage Dads at Synergy One Lending — a team built on experience, trust, and a shared commitment to delivering the best possible client experience.

James and his wife, Tisha, live in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon with their two children. Deeply rooted in their community, they stay actively involved in local schools and events. Since 2009, James has also shared his passion for teamwork and mentorship by coaching basketball at both the high school and youth levels.
